OVERVIEW

ITINERARY

We will pick you up at your place in Medellin at 9:00 am in the morning. Then we will start one of our most impacted tours in Medellín, and you are going to be a witness of the magical transformation of the city.

The first thing we are going to do is to catch up the tram:

One way to transport yourself differently in the city is the tram, the second most important transportation system in the city after the metro. Opened in 2016, it transports an average of 80,000 passengers a day, who found a way to communicate with the city on the tram. Medellín has been transformed over the years, before there were isolated neighborhoods in the city, on average a person took 1 hour to get from the house to the destination in the center of Medellín. Now it only takes about 20 minutes and has stations where there are stories and communities that have benefited greatly from this transportation system. Meet and enjoy Medellín in its electric tram.

Then we will get The Metrocable (Cable car)

Dare to know Medellin from the height, without a passport, without a helmet and with one of the best views of the city. The cable cars managed to reduce transportation times from hours to minutes, providing a one-of-a-kind transportation possibility. the sloping and mountainous terrain of the city makes it very difficult to travel by land. Opened in August 2004, it has a passenger flow of approximately 24 thousand people per day in all its lines. Enjoy a safe and peaceful trip with us.

Then we will visit the Casa de la memoria Museum:

Exhibitions, music, theater, and conversations are dedicated to building the memory of Medellín. Symbolic representations of the conflict, weavings, paintings, stories and more, are part of this place full of memories. This space offers the possibility of healing wounds and being able to forgive and build a Phoenix City that has reborn from the flames. Live with us our incredible transformation story.

We will finish our tour at Moravía:

Medellín has a secret and magical place, once hidden among the garbage, poverty, and inequality. Nowadays the little garbage dump became a beautiful hill, which literally represents the best garden in Medellin, known as The City of Eternal Spring. Enjoy this show, be accompanied by a local guide, who will tell you the story of his/her life and their families, almost always loaded with a lot of violence in the past, and many dreams and hopes in the present and for the future.

Become in a part of the history of this city and leave a grain of sand in the reconstruction of Medellin. At the end of the tour, we will drop you back at your place at 4:00 pm.
