The eastern tour is one of the most traditional tours to do in Medellin, you will know its mountains, the houses and traditional villages of Antioquia, appreciate the color of its villages, full of flowers and smiles that will give you a different experience, enjoy the smell of its mountains and drink a good coffee.

OVERVIEW

ITINERARY

"We will pick you up at your place in Medellin at 9:00 am in the morning. On this tour you will discover small towns located in eastern Antioquia. Each town with particular customs, own and different economies, discovers the diversity of a state and the magic of the capital of the mountain. Wander the montains and enhance your expirience

First we will visit El Retiro

It has a tradition of cabinetmakers and carpenters, you will see unique designs carved in wood. Despite being a relatively small town, it has more than five chapels and a church.

Then we will visit The Tequendamita

It is a beautiful place with green areas, a beautiful waterfall and provides drinks and snacks. Have a nice time in this place breathing a pure air. La Ceja bases its economy on the countryside, mainly agriculture, livestock, and small companies dedicated to the cultivation of flowers. "" La Ceja"" has a spectacular church located in the main park. Know its bars, unique decorations, and special aroma. Dare to have a good coffee and visit this beautiful place.

Then we will visit Carmen de Viboral:

It is the cradle of artisanal ceramics, recognized by its art on a national level. It has several ceramic factories where you can enter and learn about the art and craft process of making ceramics, you can buy unique souvenirs and learn many things about this process. Be amazed by this beautiful art and let your imagination run.

Then we will visit San Antonio de Pereira:

You will find typical places like the fondas, food of the region and of Colombia like empanadas and arepas. Here you can enjoy their desserts regionally recognized for their great variety and delicious taste. Meet new flavors and enjoy a short walk through its main park.

Then we will go back to Medellín to drop you at your place at 4:00 pm

When should I go on a Colombian Tour?
